Whole Tree
I really like playing with my wide-angle lens, always trying to fit as much as possible in a single shot :) Here I lowered my tripod to about 10cm from the ground and tilted the camera towards the sky. I really could have used an articulating screen here :)
HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with SIgma 10-20mm lens, on a Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod. Photo taken in the woods near Bratislava, Slovakia at the Zelezna studnicka (Steel Well) area.
Well done.. the composition is great, which can be tricky with shots like this. You have included just enough of the base to really grab the eye and take it up. But you have also edited out enough trees in your composition that the focus on the one is not lost. Sometimes this just comes down to having the right grove of trees. Well done, great light too.

Thank you :) And you’re right, it was quite tricky. I was almost lying on the ground to see the cameras display.
