Ancient Trader

For a longer time I was thinking of updating the About page to include the games I have worked on. Not many have been released yet (just 2 :)) but I think they are both quite nice :)

Today I’m posting few screenshots from Ancient Trader. I worked as a game designer on this one. It’s available on Xbox Indie Games and PC.

To get more info about the game visit http://www.ancienttrader.com/

all right to this images are reserved to ancienttrader.com. They are all hand drawn by Petr Vcelka and here you can see some other of his works http://www.drawetc.cz/?path=90_studio/09_illustrators/61_vcelka

More from Liverpool Cathedral

I really regret I didn’t take more exposure than three. Anybody working at Canon? We need more than three shots on AEB :). Well I always learn from my mistakes. Next time I take at least nine :)

Light Blue

It’s quite interesting to see how the way you post-process a photo gives you a very different result. I edited a similar photo about a half a year ago, and from then I changed my post-processing steps completely. And the result is a completely different HDR photo :)

Photo taken from the Three Towers in Bratislava. In the photo the Tehelne pole (Brickfield) stadium and the New Town in Bratislava. HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.

Whole Tree

I really like playing with my wide-angle lens, always trying to fit as much as possible in a single shot :) Here I lowered my tripod to about 10cm from the ground and tilted the camera towards the sky. I really could have used an articulating screen here :)

Lovely Summer Light

Still waiting for better weather. And just to remember how it looks, here is a nice shot from summer :)

Coins

I have seen a similar shot, some time last year, and from then I always wanted to take this photo, but newer got to it :) That is until now :). These are mostly old Slovak coins (no longer used, just reminder on old times :) ), some Euros, some Czech coins, some British Pounds and some from Egypt.

I took this photo with my Sigma 18-50mm Macro lens, the camera was very close to the coins, so I set it to F22 to have them as sharp as possible.
