St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral before sunset
Few weeks ago I posted a photo named “St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral after sunset”. And this is the same cathedral, taken few hours earlier (so technically before sunset :) ). I like the night shot better, but I think they work also very nicely as a pair. I also have a photo from the inside of this cathedral, but I was still not able to make a nice HDR from it. This is mostly because the inner walls are white, and HDR process turns them into ugly grey ones. But I usually return to older shot, when I learn something new in my processing, so will definitely try again :)
HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.
and of course the mentioned photo, the after sunset one :)
Love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you :)
It’s amazing how, although the details on the building don’t change, what you notice about them does with the different lighting. Both are beautiful captures!
Thank you :) And yes, the time of day really changes the feel of the photo. I really like to return to the same places at different times, to try out different lighting conditions.
