I haven’t done a double tone-mapped HDR in a long time and this photo gave me the opportunity. I went for a little more grunge look, with a lot of detail and de-saturated colors. I think it works here.
If you don’t know what double tone-mapping is, check out my HDR tutorial, part 2 exactly :)

Wow, this photos is amazing. This is just an idea, but would you have the time to write a tutorial for the HDR magazine on how you created this image?
It would also like to feature your blog as HDR blog of the week on the magazine.
To do that I’d need a 250px wide banner. Is that okay?
Hi Jimmy… sure I can write a tutorial how I did this… just not now.. as I’m in Prague for a week, but when I return it is possible. And sure.. I’ll be glad if you feature the blog. Do you select the banner or should I select something?
Just your logo will be fine for the banner. Thanks.
It’s okay to wait until you get back. If you have time I can try to publish the tutorial on the 2nd of September, or the Sunday after that.
Just let me know which will work best for you.
Thanks
Jimmy
