Again an older photo, taken earlier this year. As soon as the weather gets better in Bratislava (and the sky won’t be just grey), I plan to revisit Kuchajda lake for some nice Panorama shots :) I know, that as long as there won’t be much wind, the reflection will be perfect :)
From time to time I post a “Behind the camera” photo on my Facebook page. Usually when I’m traveling and can’t really process photos :) But this photo was taken because I was not shooting alone, so I could borrow a camera with a F1.8 lens. And as I don’t have one with such a high F aperture, I had to try it :) For those interested in what exactly I’m using (what you can see in this photo), check out my gear page.
Maybe not the most interesting photo, but I really like, how for a moment you are not sure what’s in front of the camera and what’s just a reflection :) I took this photo in the mirror room in the Bratislava Castle. As at that time the castle was under reconstruction, it was still empty. So I played around with some crazy compositions, trying not to have my own reflection in the photo :)
Don’t have any new photos, so I’m continuing to edit the photos I took during summer :) I think there are still a lot of them that deserve to be seen. As for instance this one. Taken early morning, right next to the Charles Bridge in Prague. If you ever there, and you want an original shot of the bridge, don’t forget to go under it. Not many photographers do and it’s worth it :)
Btw. Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends :) Hope you enjoining your holiday :)
Usually I take photos from quite far away in the churches, so I get the whole interior in one photo. But a view from closer up of the altar is also very interesting. Like here in the St. Stephens Basilica in Budapest. There are just so many details on the surrounding wall, that I had to use less sharpening as I usually do :)
