I wend out again to take some new panorama shots. Didn’t had so much luck with clear air this time, so the photos are not as sharp as I would like them to be. Also when uploading the photo (and resizing), there appeared horrible color bending in the sky.. which wasn’t there in the finished photo, really don’t know how to correct this :(

I have again included a zoomable version, so just continue to the full post and check it out :)

Stunning clouds over Prague

What do you think? Did I use tone-mapping or manual blending here? I’m just curious.. if someone can see the difference in my photos :) Everyone who visit my blog regularly already noticed that I’m experimenting with new techniques of combining photos recently. And so a lot of my recent photos were manually blended in Photoshop, but there were still tone-mapped HDRs in between them. So what do you think? Which one is this? :)

This is a photo from Prague, taken form the Old town hall tower. For me,the clouds were a big surprise, as the only appeared right after the sunset. It was a pleasant surprise :)

New article for HDR one

I wrote another article for the HDR One online magazine. This time it all about how to capture fireworks shot. So if you like to see how I got all those fireworks shot during New Year, check out this article :)

Something warmer

After all those winter panoramas, I just had to edit something a little warmer :) Not much to say here :)

How about another panorama today. If you have been on the spot, from which I took the one I posted yesterday and turned around, you would see this. This is a suburb of Bratislava, called Petrzalka. This is a 61Mpix photo, manually blended in Photoshop.

I have again included a zoomable version, so just continue to the full post and check it out :)
Golden lights in Petrzalka

One of my goals for this year, is trying to make a 1 Gigapixel photo. Just for fun :) The biggest one I did until now was 200Mpix. The photo I’m including here today is a little smaller. Only 102Mpix. Still it’s so huge. After I finished it, I probably spend another hour just looking it over in the full resolution, trying to identify everything I can see in it :)

I have again included a zoomable version, so just continue to the full post and check it out :)
