Prague in yellow

I thought about correcting all the yellow from this image, but every time I did that, I didn’t like the image anymore. It really was this yellow that day. It was very foggy in Prague and the street lamps there give of a very yellow colored light.

I also tend to go more lightly on post processing lately. So for this one I only blended two exposure, a normal one for most of the photo and a -1EV to darken a little the brightest areas. I also added a little tonal contrast to add more detail to the buildings (but only around 10% strength)

Monastery Church in Dürnstein

Durnstein is a lovely small city in Austria. Perfect for a day trip. They have a lovely church, a castle ruin and some great views. And one more thing that really counts for me, they allow the use of tripods in the church (I asked :) ). The day I was in the church the weather was quiet ugly, and I was there quite early in the morning, so for around 15 minutes I had the whole church just for myself :)

I took 7 shots here, but used only 3 for a manual blend.

All about colors

So another from my very old photos, also over 2 years old. It was interesting to blend this one, as it was so easy, just replacing the sky and it was done :) I just love the colors in this one.. and also the soft fog around the horizon.

Palm in the Palm house

I really need some new photos. Editing the same stuff over and over is just not fun. You need to switch between editing and taking photos, so it doesn’t get frustrating over time. I even vent so much back today, that I chosen a photo taken with my old Canon 450D for today. It’s funny that this photo is already almost two years old.
