Tsu
Some of you have maybe noticed, that another social network opened recently. It’s called Tsu, and it shows another, different approach to social networks. I have created an account there, just to reserve my user-name (one never know what the future brings :)) but for now I’m not sure if I will post there regularly. I mentioned it before, I want to scale down on my social networks, and use less of them. It just takes too much time and effort to be active everywhere. Already, on some of the networks I post only an update when I create a new blog post, and probably thats the fate for even more of them. I rather spend the time, I spend maintaining accounts, by writing more articles for the blog.
But if you want, you can find me under http://www.tsu.co/miroslavpetrasko
Above the Chain bridge
I posted already quite a few photos from the St. Stephans fireworks in Budapest, and here is another one. As I mentioned with my first photo from there, for the start, I was at a really bad spot. And here you can see it. The view of the bridge was great, it just had one big problem. Most of the fireworks were not above the bridge. So if I stayed there, I would miss moss of all the fireworks. So right in the middle of them, I decided to move, and you already seen photos I got after that :)
This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom, Oloneo Photoengine and Photoshop. The fireworks were a little smaller, so the scenery stayed a little darker than I would like, but at least the whole focus in on the fireworks :)
Number of exposures: 1, Camera Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Lens: Canon 24-70mm F2.8
Focal length: 46mm, Aperture: 9, Middle exposure time: 4s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes

Very nice result for one exposure Miroslav! For most of the night shots, I plan a lot before going to a spot, after some scouting in person, or
by Internet, but one of the main problems is as in this case of dynamic events, like fireworks, or anothers like “tripod hunters” officers / restrictions or worst, for personal security reasons. All of them require you to move and shoot quickly between spots.
As of the social networks you are right to centralize the focus, there are too many choices and your blog is awesome – I only regreat sometimes the lack of feedback by the users here (and a lot of people frequent your site daily). About Ello, I’ve got a Ello account a week ago but have not used it still by lack of time… do you think the movement diminished in it? I’ve sseen that many users now publishes with a larger gap of days.
About Tsú (it was launched just now, in October 22) I’ve seen it, and it is a bit curious if the 10% revenue sharing policie will work, i didn’t understand very well the way it works, but as you say, let’s see where it goes.
BTW it’s nice to see the Chat you implemented here today!
Thank you Born. I did’t plan that day so much, as I know Budapest quite well, and I had a spot that I wanted to go to. But I was late, and it was full :) So I tried this one, hoping that it will be ok, but it wasn’t.
I still like Ello, but I see the boom slowed a little. Still, I get more feedback and interaction there with 600 followers, than I get on FB with 6600 (btw. it’s the same with Instagram). It’s still hard to say how will Ello continue, as it’s only early days. They keep adding features, and the overall experience there is so much better than on other networks. In my personal very short list of networks to be active on, Ello is definitively on for now :)
Strange.. I had an account there before the 22 :) The idea is interesting, but I’m not yet convinced that the site will get bigger following. It’s exact oposite of Ello, and I think people are quite fed up with too many adds. I even removed some recently from the blog, as I felt there were to many :) (and will probably do a little more reshuffling still). If FB implemented something like that.. like youtube does right now. that would be very interesting :)
So you noticed :) It’s something like a trial test, if its something interesting for the visitors. It allows for people to talk to each other, and also post their own photos :) I’m thinking of releasing some free brackets again, and that will be a great place for people to post their results :)
These are great ideas – for what I see at Chats, there is a initial resistence (mostly shyness), that passes with time. Remember latter to divulgate it now and then at Ello, as in it there is a more focused interaction between people in a community with the same interests.
