So I finally started catching up to the real world, and almost finished all photos from the Sendusal Dance festival in Bratislava, which was during this weekend. I of course had no time to edit my regular photos, but since I edited a lot form the festival, how about I share few of those :)

Sensual dance festival

So my crazy weekend is over, 4 night of taking photos at parties and also some during the day :) Haven’t slept much, but I need to quickly get back to my normal routine, so how about to start today. So as always, a new process post today for you.

Let’s first look at the final photo, and the starting exposure.

As always I loaded all the exposures into Lightroom, where I corrected the horizon, white balance and also chromatic aberrations. From there I exported all the files and loaded them in Oloneo Photoengine. I changes the strength and the contrast to get a blend I wanted and continued in Photoshop.

I loaded all the exposures in Photoshop and did the following edits (layers numbered from bottom up):
1. Oloneo Photoengine result
2. I created a second result in Oloneo Photoengine, a brighter one. Here I used a lights luminosity mask to brighten all the white parts of the water.
3. Original exposure, to correct the moving people on the bridge
4. Brushed out the railing as it didn’t fit the composition I wanted.
5. Color Effex polarization, to bring more blue into the sky
6. Color Effex Pro contrast to get more detail
7. I added more overall saturation here, as I felt there is not that much color in the photos
8. Nik Dfine to remove noise
9. Brightened the bottom right corner, as it looked too dark
10. Little bit of overall contrast

And that’s all what I did with this photo :)

Those of you who follow me on my personal FB profile, already seen a ton of new photos from the Bratislava Sensual dance festival, and I continue to be crazy busy. So today, again nothing new here, but I’m reposting one of my older videos, who some of you may have not seen yet :)

As I mentioned yesterday, I’m crazy busy today, and so have absolutely no time. So for today, I’m only reposting this short video I did on one way to use luminosity masks.

You can also download the PSD of the final file that you can see in the video from Dropbox here.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and don’t forget to switch the video to 720p :)

I have no idea where I will find time to post anything to the blog this next weekend. For the next two days I’m taking photos at the Bratislava Sensual Dance festival, and it will be a lot of work and a lot of photos. Even yesterday I got home only at 3am, as I was taking photos at the Pre-party, and I see it today that I wont get home before 4 :) But still, it’s a lot of fun with great people, so I’m looking forward to it :)

And here are few photos from last years festival. There was a nautical theme that year, and I think it’s cops this one. Will be fun :)
