Normally, I think there are not so many lights in Hallstatt. But as the day I visited it, they had a concert right in the middle of the city (the very bright light in the middle, was a boat with a orchestra on it :)), and they strung light all along the walkway. Other than that, the surrounding is really dark, as its only mountains. You can see it also from the EXIF info, that I had to go with a high ISO and a bigger aperture than I usually like.

Let’s continue with another photo from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in the Alps in Austria. For this one, I walked to one of the little huts there (where I believe you can book a stay) and took this shot while including the railing in front of it. I used a f22 here, as I wanted to have as much of the scenery sharp, while still also having the railing in focus.

I really like reflections in my photos. But getting a reflection from a river is really quite hard. Especially if the river is used for a lot boat traffic or is just moving too fast. While the part of Danube in Vienna, I was standing here next to is not so busy, still, I could not get the reflection I wanted. So instead of trying to get it there, I moved a little back, right next to this big puddle, which created a perfect one :)

If I had much more time while in the area, I would probably try and walk around these mountains. It was even so great just standing there, having the clouds pass by. Such a wonderful view.

So many great views around the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. And they are like make for panoramas. You see so much once the clouds clear :)
