A lot of you liked the first photo I shared from Hallstatt, and here is another one. This one is a little less frequent view, as to get this close I had to use a 200mm lens.

This is a HDR from 2 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Less photographed side

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones Adapter ver. IV, Lens: Canon 70-200mm F2.8 IS II, Focal length: 150mm, Aperture: 13, Middle exposure time: 0.4s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 47.557091, 13.647542

While taking this shot, the clouds were passing by quite fast. So each time, I took few shots, the clouds covered everything, I waited until it cleared and took few shots again. It was actually quite fun :)

This one was also taken from the Edelweisspitze, and it is a HDR from three exposure, created in Oloneo Photoengine. You may notice quite a lot more photos now created only from three exposures, as the Sony does not allow for 5 exposures from -2 to +2, so I either use three form -1 to +1 or from -2 to +2. It works mostly just fine. If I’m not sure, I do the bracketing manually.

Incoming clouds

CloudsAnd another photo from Austria today. This one is from the top of the Edelweisspitze ( 2571 meters over the sea level) overlooking the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. From what I heard, I was quite lucky to have such a nice weather here. Usually it’s completely covered with clouds, and even the first hour I was there you could not see anything. I almost left, but right then, the clouds moved and uncovered the valley. You can see in the small attached photo from my phone, how it looked around a hour before I took this shot :)

The curvy mountain road

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones Adapter ver. IV, Lens: Canon 16-35mm F2.8, Focal length: 26mm, Aperture: 16, Middle exposure time: 1/60s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 47.123548, 12.830700

HallstattAnd I’m back home after the few days in Austria. I had only partial luck with weather this time, with my trip to Salzburg being completely worthless due to heavy rain the whole time I was there. But I still managed to visit other places, and get few nice shots.

So for today, a shot from Hallstatt, from one of the most popular spots there. And since it gives such a nice view, it’s not even a surprise. This is a HDR from three exposures.

I’m including a behind the camera shot today. Randomly, it was taken right after I took this shot :)

For today, another photo from the Northern Austria, or as it’s also know, Wachau. The whole area is just beautiful, with castles, vineyards and many great photo opportunities.

This is a blend from two exposures, edited in Photoshop.
