I don’t do much street photography, but this has to be my favorite photo taken on a street. Just a random one, taken while sitting at a restaurant having a lunch :) Taken in October of 2011.
This one is so over-processed. But there used to be time when I liked photos like this. Not that much anymore :) But somehow I still like this one. It’s maybe just nostalgia :) Taken in the summer of 2010.
Sometimes waiting for something can be so long. Like this one. I’m waiting for my life-blogging camera, the Narrative clip, almost for a year now. And it should have been here today, but will be tomorrow. So I planed to post some un-boxing photos and more info today, but will do it on Wednesday (as tomorrow is time for another processing post :)) so don’t forget to visit the blog.
Purple everywhere
I read somewhere that the purple color is much more preferred by women than by man. Not sure if that is true, but in any way, I hope you all enjoy this photo. Even when it’s purple everywhere. It’s quite interesting how sometime the blue looking clouds, together with the yellow glow of the sun can create such colors.
This is a HDR created in Oloneo Photoengine, and then blended with the original exposures in Photoshop.
Moo cards are my favorite way of creating business cards, and in this review I will tell you why. Continue to the full Moo cards review.
Last moments of sunset
I haven’t posted a panorama for a while, so for today I have one for you. This is another shots take in the middle of the summer last year. This is one great place above the city Hainburg in Austria, from where you get this great view of the city and this S-curve in Danube. And another great thing is, that you can get there by car, so no walking up the hill :)
As you can see, this was taken right around sunset. The sky was a little boring that day, so I comped more for the scenery. This is a Panorama from two shots, each one from 5 exposures. I used my standard technique of combining the panorama, which you can see in my panorama tutorial. I also took another set of 5 exposures with my hand in front of the sun, so I can remove the flares. I used the approach as shown in my How to remove lens flares tutorial.
I’ve been using Smugmug as my photo host and portfolio site for a few years now, so I thought I put together a short review of it. Head over to the Smugmug – review page for more.
At the Neusiedlersee
I should be back in Bratislava today, and hopefully I also got few new shots during the last days (I have no idea if I got something, as I’m writing this a week before :)). So lets be surprised together tomorrow. Until then, here is another photo from the best sunset I seen in 2013.
This is a manual blend from 5 exposures, taken at the Neusiedlersee in Austria.
