Night view of Prague

Back to another photo from my archives. This one I took in 2013 in Prague. I went to the top of the Petrin tower. Normally, no tripods are allowed there, but there were so few people, that I managed to convince them to let me use mine. And I took many photos :)

So today I edited a panorama I took that day. I have to say, I can see the difference between editing photos from the 5D mark II and mark IV. Was really harder to get what I wanted from the mark II. The difference is really noticeable.

This is a two shot panorama, each shot from 3 exposures. I used the merge to HDR panorama feature in Lightroom and then finished the photo in Photoshop.

Prague center during a calm morning

And since already on the Prague topic. This photo was taken the same week I did the Charles bridge one. It was taken in 2012. Hard to think that I have been updating this blog for so long now. Not even 2012 was the beginning :)

The endless dirt road

It’s quite strange to take photos with a 12mm lens. Everything is immediately so far away. It just does not work for all type of photos. Even with landscapes. But there are photos it works wonderfully with. And this is one of those. You point the lens a bit to the ground, and it will add so much depth to the photo. The fields and the road just wonderfully stretch to infinity. You just have to remove your fee and the tripod from the final shot, as you will see them for sure :)

This is a single exposure, edited mostly in Lightroom, cleaned up in Photoshpo.

In the southern Moravia fields

As the spring is in full swing, it was time to start going around and getting some nice nature photos. So today, together with Pedro Kin from pedrokinphotography.com, I went to the southern Moravia, for the beautiful rolling fields there. And while it was a bit more hazy that we would like, I think we got few nice shots. And here is one of them :)

Busy Charles Bridge in Prague – Plotagraph

I’m in the middle of packing for my next trip and trying to decide what I need and what I can leave behind. It’s funny how quickly one reaches the airline limits for baggage :). But I’m still here, so for today I have for you another Plotagraph. This one from a photo taken from one of the towers of the Charles bridge in Prague. The clouds, water and the moving people really work nicely here.
