Towering

This was a very nice scene, and I wanted to take so many photos :). But my friend from Prague, who was in the city with me, refused to wait a minute more. But I wasn’t so surprised, because it was quite cold, and I already had him wait for around an hour :)

Sunny day in Mikulov

Winter is here, but instead of snow, we have rain in Bratislava. And on top of that, I’m a little sick. So I’m not really in the mood to go out and take new shots. So instead I’m editing photos from summer, so at least in memories there is still nice weather :).

Ventilation tower

This was a great scene to be shot in HDR. The bottom part of the tower was heavily lit from all the surrounding light, with the top part almost completely dark. HDR process worked great here :)

Brackets

I haven’t added any processing info for a longer time. So to corrects this, here are the original brackets for tonight’s photo and the used photomatix settings.

Photomatix settings were: Strength 93, Color Saturation 52, Luminosity 7.6, Detail Contrast 6.5, Lighting Adjustments 2.9, White point 1.27, Black point 0.8 and Micro-smoothing at 2.0

Two cathedrals

Looking at my photos from Prague, I’m really thinking that I should give myself a panoramatic tripod head for Christmas :) It would really look interesting.
