Another night shot for today :) I could spend hours and days taking night pictures of Prague, and I hope I will :) What I really love about this scene, is that everything has a reflection here, every single part :)

Yesterday I hit my first 100 000 views on my smugmug portfolio www.hdrshooter.net. Thank you very much to everyone who visited my site :)
All the people on the Karl’s Bridge
This is the view of the Karl’s Bridge from the top of the Petrin tower. You should bring a nice zoom lens when you go there :). From this point you can really see how much people are on the bridge. It’s really a lot :). This is one of those photos, where I would love to have a camera with more megapixels. There is so much detail lost in this photo.

I took this shot late at night from the Karl’s bridge in Prague. I really like taking this kind of shots, having these long light reflections in the water. As for this photo, the ones taken from the camera were very warm, almost yellow, from all the lights. But with a lot of color correcting, it got this nice combination of yellow, green and blue.

This is one of my handheld HDR’s. It’s always a little bit of a hit or miss. A lot of them are really not usable, either not sharp enough or they can’t be aligned at all. Usually I don’t bother and just go to another photo. Just when I see that the photo is really promising I stick with it :). What I found, that a great way to do it, is to tonemapp just a single exposure, and then just mask in parts, which need to be fixed. Usually when you cannot align the whole image, its still possible to align a smaller part.
With this photo I had absolutely no problems :). The alignment worked perfectly, I just had to correct the moving people. This is the Hanavsky pavilion, which is situated on a hill above Prague. There is a great view of the city from here, and you can actually see it a little in the bottom right part of the photo.
