The architect that designed this did a really fantastic job. It just looks so majestic. There are so many ugly modern buildings out there, but this one I really like. The combination with round and sharp edges, with the way it reflect in each other is just great.

It’s interesting how taking photo just a few minutes later can give you completely different colors. I posted a photo very similar to this one, just taken short time sooner and it just looks completely different. You can see the other photo here.

The best thing about having a rainy weather when you try to take photos is, that thy can create puddles, so you have reflections in places where they usually are none. Same here. Usually no nice spot for a reflection from this side of the Eiffel tower, but with a little rain, there was a great one. I spend around 20 minutes just walking around and taking photos by different puddles, trying to find the best composition :)

One of the places I had no time to visit is Paris, is the inside and mostly the top of Notre Dame. You just cant’t visit everything and with the sunset at half ten, most of things are already closed. My list of places I want to visit the next time in Paris is just getting bigger and bigger :)

The only sunrise I really got up while I was in Paris. All others during the week were just not worth it. Always rainy or cloudy. But this one was actually quite nice, even if few scattered clouds would be nicer. I used my ND filter to take this to nicely blur the water and the traffic on the road. The ND filter worked out great, until it got loose form the camera when I was moving to another spot and fell on the ground. It split up into three pieces, but luckily the glass received no damage at all and I managed to put it back together :)
