First magazine cover

I had my photos in few magazines before, but never on a cover. But that changed this month with the new issue of the Practical Photography magazine. Go and check it out :)

From the hill

I took many photos from this spot, and you have seen them. This is the spot with the best view of the Liberty bridge in Budapest. But I never took a photo towards the other side, towards the city center. So this time I tried one. And to make it more interesting, I went with a panorama right away :)

This is a two shot panorama, each shot from 3 exposures. HDR created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Even if the Chain bridge in Budapest is the more famous one, this one just has to be my favorite. That’s why I have so many photos of it :)

I wanted a photo of the Gellért Baths in Budapets for a while, but this area, from which one sees it, is just not that great. You just see the baths too much from the top, so any view that captures it all, is very affected with perspective distortion. So this time, I tried something else. I did a two shot vertorama here, to get the sky and also the area right under the hill. And it came out quite nicely :)

Not really my favorite bridge in Budapest. It’s fine and all, but if you seen the how it looked before when it was first build, it was just so much better (just search for its name in google to see it). To bad that I can’t take a photo of that one.

But if nothing else, this works fine also :) This is a HDR from 3 shots, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

It’s very nice when they allow tripods in churches. One can get a much better photo with them then without. So it’s very nice that in the newly renovated Matthias Church in Budapest they allow them. I would just suggest being careful, as it’s usually quite full of people :)
