As a new year begins, you just can’t go without looking back at the old year. They were good days, there were bad. And there were days I got into explore and on the explore front page on Flickr. So this is a little list of all the photos there (numbers 11,12 and 17 were on the front page):

End of a Year
I said I had more fireworks shots :) So here is another one. This was taken after the main new years fireworks already ended. It was actually quite a lucky shot, because when I pressed the shutter, somebody fired off a firework right below me. So I had the exact right moment :)
HDR from a single shot, taken with Canon 450d with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.
So I tried again to take few photos of the midnight fireworks. For the last few years they were accompanied by a heavy fog, which hid most of them. But luckily, this year the weather played along, and I got some nice shots :) (so there will be a few more this week :))
This photo was taken from the Bratislava Castle, you can see the New Bridge over Danube in it.

I want to wish all of you a merry Christmas, lovely times spend with you loved ones and a lot of nice Christmas photos :)
Christmas Bear
Not a photo from this winter, as I wanted at least on Christmas to post a photo with snow. This is a part of the decorations at the River Park in Bratislava, in front of the Kempinski hotel.
HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a tripod.
I will be spending the next few days and Christmas with my parents, so I’m mostly offline for that time. But as usually there should be a new photo every day, if the scheduling works :)
Hodza Square
One more blue hour shot from center of Bratislava. I actually went inside the fountain, to take few show with reflections from the water puddles :)
