Photo editing

Another little view into my photo editing process. The following image shows the original three shots (-2,0,+2), with the photomatix result (bottom left) and the final image edited in photoshop (bottom right). As is visible, photomatix is used to blend the images, but it’s far from the finished photo.

200 000 views

Yesterday my account on Flickr passed 200 000 views. The second one hundred took about the half time, my first one hundred took, so lets see how long the third one takes  :)

Thank you very much everyone who visited :). Now onto the next 100 000 and more and more photos :)

Triceratops

This one really gave me a lot of work. I took the 3 shot handheld and the alignment was nor really that perfect. So I masked a lot of parts from the original images and also removed few people from the shot. Also I left the trees quite dark in this one, so the Triceratops doesn’t blend into the background.

This photo was taken in the Dinopark of the Zoo in Bratislava, about a year ago.

Sunset over Kamzik

I went a little through older photos and selected this one for today :) It was taken in May last year from Three towers apartments in Bratislava. I was one of those very nice evenings, visiting friends and taking a lot of photos :)

My MOO cards have arrived :)

Always when I’m somewhere taking photos, I get into discussions with people and usually I would like to leave them a card with my contact. And long time ago I have seen the MOO cards, where you can have different photo on each of the cards :). And now they arrived :) Check out http://uk.moo.com/share/7jcn2b/ for more info :)

Green door to 1906

I wanted to take exactly this photo for the last two years. But every time I passed this building I didn’t have my tripod with me :) But not this time :) This house is right next to the historical center of Bratislava in one of the side alleys.

Sun shines through

One of the shots I took at the Red stone castle. I tried to catch the sun rays in this one, with as many details in the rock wall as possible :)
