Double City

Quite a busy day today. Got to visit the National Bank of Slovakia building in Bratislava as they had an Open Day. As it is the highest building in Bratislava (and whole Slovakia) i had to use the chance to take few photos.

In this shot is the Slovak Radio building and its surrounding areas. Taken from the 30th floor. Too bad I only could take the pictures through double glass windows.

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450d with sigma 10-20mm lens, handheld.

At home

I took so many shots of this place, as its directly behind my parents house :). So many memories here :)

Apollo Bridge

I really like taking night shots, especially by the water. All the lights, all the reflections, it’s just great. The only problem is to get up in the morning the next day :)

HDR from three shots, taken with Canon 450D with Sigma 10-20mm lens, from a gorilla pod. Again, very disappointed with the gorillapod. My should carry 3kg, my camera has around 1.5kg, and it can’t hold it at all. Will probably just throw it out, as soon as I buy a new tripod.

I have read in one book, that every time you take photos somewhere, you should try also to look up. An really, quite often you can find quite interesting stuff above your head :)

This photo was taken in one of the gates by the Bratislava Castle at night. All the lights from the surrounding areas created really interesting shadows, which i liked.
