Dubai can be so busy, especially in the evening. Looking at it from high up makes it feel almost like a anthill. It’s so fascinating :)

This is a HDR from three exposures, blended in Photoshop.

Using and ND filter can give photos a very interesting look. Especially if you shoot next to water as it nicely blurs it and you get reflections where you normally would not. It’s always a good idea to give it a try :)

Marina reflection

I took a photo of just the tops of the skyscrapers here, but I thought it was quite boring. So I played around with the rotation here, and took another photo like this. I think this rotation made the photo much more interesting. In the least, it made it more unique :)

Just the Tops

I don’t really like these fake reflections that much. But as I was editing this panorama, I just tried it out, and I quite like the result :) Even if I know it’s fake, I like how it looks (but will also post the normal shot sometimes later anyway :) ).

This is a 4 shots panorama, each shot from 4 exposures. Panorama created in PTgui, with the exposures combined in Oloneo Photoengine. The image finished and reflection create in Photoshop.

You can see an even bigger version here.
The fake reflection

I hope you are not yet bored by the Dubai photos :) I don’t have anything other new recently, but hopefully soon. Until then, there will be many more skyscrapers on this blog. Ho here is another one from the Dubai Marina :)
