HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

The 27th of April is the King’s day in the Netherlands, and since I was in Amsterdam, I took few photos here and there of the celebrations. I seen even busier photos from other years celebrations, but I’m not surprised, as the day before it rained constantly. So here are few random photos from the day, all taken handheld, with the 70-200mm lens.

Funny how when I edit on the Surface Pro 4, I tend to end up with sharper photos, which still are quite noisy. It’s a bit similar to looking at a photo on a mobile phone. The high resolution screen just hides some of the things, you see much clearer on a lover resolution one. The pixels are just so much smaller.

So here is another blue hour photo from Amsterdam. During my recent trip, the weather was horrible almost the whole time, except in the evenings, when it always cleared up. So I ended up with all blue hour shots this time :)

This is mostly a single exposure, I used a second one just to get rid of a passing ship.

Now I’m really really far behind with updating the blog. And not that that’s the only way I’m behind in. Somehow it’s hard to keep up while I’m running around taking photos, and of course having a horrible internet connection everywhere. But now it’s time to start catching up, so here is for you a photo of the Munseter in Bern, Switzerland.

This is a two shot vertorama, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

And another photo from Amsterdam. This time it’s a floating asian restaurant right in the city center.

This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I have been moving between countries lately, and one of the places I stopped for a short while was also Germany. Not that I got that many photos, but there are few :)

Here is one I took in Rudesheim am Rhein, of this little city train used to transport tourists. This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
