HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

Had to do a bit of shopping today, before I was to able edit anything, as yesterday evening I managed to shatter the pen tip on my surface pen (when it fell down straight onto a hardwood floor) and I needed to replace it to be able to work. Luckily, I found a store not far away to get a replacement smile emoticon

So here is a shot taken in the La Defense area of Paris. This is a three shot vertorama, taken with the help of the 17mm TSE lens. I merged it in Lightroom, and then did few minor tweaks in Photoshop (brightened few spots, darkened few spots, color efex pro contrast to give a bit of pop to the shot).

Almost all photos I took already in Paris, are either vertoramas or panoramas. The tilt shift lens just makes making them so easy, and the crazy wide views one gets like this are something I really like. So there will be even more of them. Here is one from in front of a carousel by the Eiffel tower.

This is a two shot vertorama, edited with Lightroom and Photoshop.

So today I arrived in Paris, and while I’m quite tired (after the stomach problems, busy week and overall lack of sleep :/) I still found myself going out to the Eiffel tower to get few shots in the evening. And this time I was shooting the whole time with the tilt shift lens, which really quickly replaced my 16-35 as my favorite lens :)

But until I edit those, you can see a bit of a preview in the Lightroom screenshot to the side. And for you, here is one more shot from an early morning Bordeaux. This is a vertorama from two shots, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

I took many photos in the last days, but nothing I can really share with you, as it’s all work stuff. So while I have no more time to go around Bordeaux to take more new ones, I still have quite a few I haven’t shared with you. And from tomorrow, I’m in Paris, so it the weather works out, I will try to get some new shots there smile emoticon

So here is a shot of the Pont de Pierre, from a little bit more up close. This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.

A bit later update than I planed, even if I was up from 5am. But today it was not due to a sunrise photoshoot, but due to horrible stomach pain. Luckily after my stomach was completely empty (I spare you the details) it got better, and I’m mostly back to normal. So probably I won’t take many new photos today, but I edited already quite a few from this week, so here is one taken early morning on Thursday in front of the opera house in Bordeaux.

This is a single exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
