HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

From time to time I share some of the RAW files to one of my photos, and today is again one of those days. There are 5 files directly from the Sony a7R, taken in Vienna, Austria. So feel free to download them, try you editing skill, and share your result on my Facebook page.

You can get the RAW files and also 16bit Tiff version from the Dropbox forlder. I noticed that some of the older versions of PS and Lightroom do not like to open RAWs from newer cameras, so if thats you case, get the Tiff files.

Download the brackets here:

As always, I’m still author of the photo. You are free to share your edits further, but always link back to this blog and give me credit as the author and don’t use them for any commercial purpose. Thank you :)

If I had much more time while in the area, I would probably try and walk around these mountains. It was even so great just standing there, having the clouds pass by. Such a wonderful view.

This is a HDR from three exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Mountain Path

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones Adapter ver. IV, Lens: Canon 16-35mm F2.8, Focal length: 16mm, Aperture: 14, Middle exposure time: 1/80s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 47.123674, 12.831890

So many great views around the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. And they are like make for panoramas. You see so much once the clouds clear :)

This is a panorama from 4 tiles, each one from 2 exposures. Panorama combined in PTgui, HDR in Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

A lot of you liked the first photo I shared from Hallstatt, and here is another one. This one is a little less frequent view, as to get this close I had to use a 200mm lens.

This is a HDR from 2 exposures, created in Oloneo Photoengine, finished in Photoshop.

Less photographed side

Technique: Oloneo Photoengine, Number of exposures: 3, Camera Model: Sony a7R + Metabones Adapter ver. IV, Lens: Canon 70-200mm F2.8 IS II, Focal length: 150mm, Aperture: 13, Middle exposure time: 0.4s, ISO: 100, Tripod used: yes, Location: 47.557091, 13.647542

While taking this shot, the clouds were passing by quite fast. So each time, I took few shots, the clouds covered everything, I waited until it cleared and took few shots again. It was actually quite fun :)

This one was also taken from the Edelweisspitze, and it is a HDR from three exposure, created in Oloneo Photoengine. You may notice quite a lot more photos now created only from three exposures, as the Sony does not allow for 5 exposures from -2 to +2, so I either use three form -1 to +1 or from -2 to +2. It works mostly just fine. If I’m not sure, I do the bracketing manually.
