I spend the Eastern at my parents home, and I though I get some new photos in the area while I’m there. Of course since the Spring is here, it rained most of the time. But we stopped at Bardejovske Kupele (Barjdejov spa town) to get some of the great mineral water that is available there (if any of you are ever in the area, go there, taste it, it’s free, you will love it, and its very healthy :)), and we also stopped by the open air museum there. The weather was ok for a while, so I’m quite happy with the few photo I took.

This one is of one of the two Churses there. This time I went with a vertorama from two photos, each one created from 5 exposures, combined in PTGUI and then Oloneo Photoengine. Check out the guides section for how to create HDR panoramas.

This is one of those places, where you have a stunning view on one side, and a very stunning view on the other :). So one really tends to go with the very stunning one (in this case this one). But of course I also got few ones from this side, even if not so many as from the other one :)

Ok, to tell the truth, I also got over the railing to get few shots without it :) Better said, I walked around it, as I didn’t want to climb with my camera gear. One always has to be careful. But I also liked this view, with the railing in front, gives a nice foreground object and it also creates a nice leading line that curves in the photo. One tends to think about the composition all the time :)

Some time ago I posted this panorama with a fake reflection I only created in Photoshop (you can see it here). But this time here is the real look of it. So this is the normal panorama I took. I would so love to get a really great reflection here, but I think the see is never so calm here, to be able to get it. Maybe if I carried a mirror with me all the time, to put under the camera :)

The Burj Khalifa is not really for those who are afraid of heights. I don’t really see the point, as over a certain height, it does not really matter that much. If you would ever fall from a 5th floor or from a 100th floor, the results are the same. But everyone looks at this differently. It’s still funny how different thing look from such high up. Like the Address hotel which you can see in the middle of this photo. From bottom up it looks so huge, from high up, so small :)
