As the title suggest, the weather was not the best as I took this. I was planing to go shooting something completely different, but as I arrived in the city, it started raining and it rained so strongly, that I was unable to take any shots. So I turned around to get back to my hotel, but of course in the part of the city I had my hotel in, it wasn’t raining at all. So at least I could get some photos there :) It’s funny with these big cities, that you can have such different weather in different parts.

This is a HDR created in Oloneo Photoengine, created from 5 shots, finished in Photoshop.

Again something little different today :) No new photo, but a short video tutorial on how I add glow to my photos. You can also see a written tutorial here and get a action that creates glow for you on the same page.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

The sky looked so promising today, lots of lovely clouds. But of course around sunset all the clouds disappeared. Better luck next time. This is of course the view from the UFO, the top of the SNP bridge. If aliens ever arrive on a flying saucer, this is probably the view they would get :)

If you watched the timelapse experiment I posted two days ago, you already seen this photo. This is one of the frames I used in the timelapse, I just liked the reflection so much, that I also edited it separately :)

This is a single image, split into two in Lightroom and then blended together in Photoshop.

I would so love to already have photos form Dubai. But since still two weeks until my trip, I have to still post from the photos I took mostly last year. But since I don’t take many photos now, as also the weather is not playing along that much, I have time to experiment with timelapses and recording videos and a lot of other things, which I hope you will see on this blog in the next weeks and months :)

This is a panorama from three shots, all of them from 5 exposures, created in PTGui and Photoshop.
