HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

A nicely lit Eiffel tower, during the blue hour. Something one could take photos of for a long time. You can see there are some additional parts to it on the photos, as the first floor is currently under reconstruction. But it’s good that there are not so different from the tower, so you can’t even see them that much.

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken from under the Eiffel tower in Paris.
With all the lights on

To break from all the Paris photos for a moment, here is one from London. This was taken during one very ugly and cold morning, but as it was my last day in London, I had to do the best of it. The sky and colors were not that great, but with a little editing it does not even look that bad :)

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken by the London Eye in London.
The London Eye in the morning

I love the colors in this one. Even with it raining most of the day, the night was usable. You don’t get any blue hour with the sky being completely covered with clouds, but once the sun goes down, the city lights will make all clouds glow yellow. There is so much more light for night shooting then.

Sharp architecture

Recently I don’t do so much daytime photography and focus more on sunrise/sunset/blue hour. But if the weather is right, I go out to take few shots. And I found a moment in Paris, when it was worth it. Only a moment, as the clouds disappeared very quickly. I used a 9 stop ND filter for this, as I like the soft water so much that I want it even in my day shots.

This is a manual blend from 2 shots.
Long exposure shot

This was actually my second trip to Paris. My first one was 13 years ago at a school trip. I don’t remember much from that trip (scenery really was not on my mind when I was 17 years old :)), but this finger was one of the thing I remembered and I also knew where it was. Other that the area looks wery different from what I saw then. It was mostly a construction site then.

This is a manual blend from 5 shots, taken around midnight near La Defense in Paris
