Those of you who follow also my personal FB account probably noticed that the whole day I was busy with salsa photos so I had not much time to edit my classic stuff (and that is after I was until 4am at the salsa party :) ). But anyway, I did a quick edit so I keep my photo a day blog running :) Hope you like it :)

Manual blend from three shots (took 5, but haven’t used the two brightest shots), showing the New Bridge and Aupark tower in Bratislava
As they enter the bridge

I love taking HDR photos, but from time to time I have to do a different kind of photography, so it doesn’t become repetitive. And as each year, I always go to the motorbike exhibition in Bratislava to take a few shots. And I was there again today. Only for about an hour, as I was surprised by the number of people there. Too much for my taste :)

Hope you like the shots :) And if you do, here are the ones from last year Girls & Bikes 2012

It almost reads like the Golden gate bridge :) but this one is of course in Budapest, and it looks so gold because the photo was taken after sunset, with all the lights on, and it was also raining a little at that time, which made everything look even more yellow :)

This is a manual blend from 7 shots. All blending just to tone down the very bright lights on the bridge.

How to shoot fireworks

No new photo today, but new article :). For those who read the HDR one magazine, you maybe already seen it and now it’s also on this blog. So for all of you interested in how I shoot my fireworks shots, continue to this page, where I try to describe it as best as I can :) Hope it will be helpful to some of you :)

This is my favorite bridge in Budapest. The chain bridge is more popular, but I like the look of this one more. One thing that I find very interesting on this bridge is, that there is no railing between the walkway and the road. I never seen a bridge like this without a railing.

This is a manual blend from 7 shots. I started with the +1EV photo and the used all the darker shots to darken the lights on the bridge. Then I used the +2 and +3 shot to brighten the building in the distance a little.
