HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

I have no idea why I created a compositions like this :) But I was playing around with the 70-200mm lens.. so I tried a vertorama, and I quite liked it, so I finished it :) Looks strange on all the sites, but probably will look nice on Pinterest :)

This is 5×5 vertorama (5 shots all from 5 exposures) blended using PTgui and Photoshop. Final size was 63Mpix.

I know.. it’s one more citiscape. But as have edited already so many photos from last year, I have to edit the new ones at least for few days :) This is one of the higher buildings in Bratislava, the Tower 115 (because it is 115m high) but this view will change shortly, as they are starting to build two new, higher buildings, right next to it.

Tower 115

And another photo from yesterday. I liked the purple tint in this one, so I did’t correct it at all. In this photo you can see the National bank of Slovakia (currently the highest building in Slovakia) and the inverted pyramid of Slovak radio building (probably the strangest building in Slovakia :) )

This is a manual blend from 5 exposures. Photo taken from under the Slavin memorial in Bratislava.
Right after the sunset

The weather in Bratislava got much better this week, so for today I chosen to go up to the Slavin Memorial. It’s one of the highest points in the city, but a lot of the view is obstructed by trees. So it was a great opportunity to use my 70-200mm lens, as I dont use it that much :) So this is fully zoomed in to 200mm. Manually blended from 5 photos and processed in Photoshop.

Daily photo

I prefer going to the Chalres bridge in Prague late at night. There are still a lot of people there, but much better than during the day. If you ever been there, you would see that it’s sometime even hard to cross the bridge, due to the amount of people there :)
