One more from the Hungarian parliament. This was the only place I was allowed to take photos from in this room. Even with a permit you can’t get everywhere :) And of course getting in here took a nice walk through a security checkpoint, like you find on the airport.
The parliament building in Budapest is a very beautiful building from the outside, so it’s not such a surprise that it looks stunning also on the inside. You could take photos for hours, just in this main staircase.
I was almost running to get to the bridge. I wanted to take few shots before they turn off the lights. And I only had maybe 10 minutes to catch the exact moment. The moment between there was enough light to have a blue sky and still not enough light, so the street light were on. And in the end I managed it. I took only maybe 4-5 photos, but that’s enough :)
I been here earlier this year, but the conditions were very different. Without the light on, the basilica looks completely differently. Only with the light, you see all those beautiful colors and reflection on every pillar. Such a beautiful and stunning place.
I noticed this place already when I was first time in Budapest. But as it was Sunday, it was already closed. But this time, it was my first destination. This is the Great market hall in Budapest. Too bat I only was there for a hour, so I had no time to check out what everything you can buy there. But what I have seen, in the bottom part they sell fresh food and the top part is mostly for souvenirs :) Really a place you have to visit if you are in Budapest.
