HIGH-RESOLUTION WALLPAPERS

New keyboard and mouse

For many years now I have been using an ergonomic keyboard from Microsoft. I used every model they released in the last 10-15 years. But recently I had been having issues, as all the new ones are wireless and just caused strange problem. So in the end, I decided to change the brand of what I use for the first time in years. So now I got the Xiaomi Gaming keyboard and also mouse. They look quite nice, but it is quite a change from what I had before.

Even I’m curious to see if I get used to them or I switch back soon. The last time I tried a different mouse (Logitech MX I think) I had to switch back within a week, as my hand hurt like if somebody broke it. I just could not use it. Hopefully this will not happen this time.

Midnight reflection

I took this image on the 31st of December of last year, few minutes before the New Year. I was actually on the way to take photos of the fireworks, but I as was walking to my destination, I noticed this puddle with this cool reflection. So even though I had only short time left I had to stop and take few shots here.

This is a two shot vertorama, taken at the new Old Bridge in Bratislava. Mostly edited in Lightroom, with only few tweaks in Photoshop.

Mobile Wallpapers

For a longer time I wanted to add a new category to the wallpapers section, that being mobile wallpapers. But here the choice for resolution is a bit harder, as not every phone has the same resolution or even the same aspect ration. And to avoid having every photo in many resolutions, I decided to go with the most average one. So for now, all wallpapers here are 2:1 aspect ration with a resolution of 1080×2160. This will fit most screens quite well, even if on some a bit from the edges gets cut off.

As always you are welcome to share these further, just please mention me as the author and link back here. Thank you.

New wallpapers

And here are all the ones I added today :) All can be downloaded from the Mobile wallpapers page here.

Sunny and stormy

I wanted a completely different photo here. What I wanted is to catch the sun right on top of the Bayterek tower, as it looks like a torch anyway. But as I was waling around, trying to find a good spot to take the photo from, the clouds came, and made it a bit impossible. The weather was at the same time really sunny, and a bit stormy :)

Still, I took many photo, including this one from by the nearby fountains. This is a two shot blend, created in Photoshop.

Moments before sunset

I really like to include the sun in my photos. It makes for a bit harder editing, but that a price I’m willing to pay for a nice photo. It is a bit easier when it’s already close to the sunset, as the light from the sun is no longer so bright (mostly). This photo was taken two weeks ago at the Lighthouse at Neusidelrsee in Austria.

This is a single long exposure, edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. I used a 10stop VFfoto filter here.

Entering Bratislava

I have not added a plotagraph in a while. And this is one I already shared on my Instagram quite a while ago, but never posted it here. So here it is :) So this the beautiful river cruise ship AmaViola as it enters Bratislava. And I can say that, I spend many days on this ship, so I know how great it is. I took this photo from the Old bridge, as the ship was entering Bratislava and getting ready to dock.

Then I went into Plotagraph Pro and animated the water, to make it look like it’s permanently moving.

You can check out my Plotagraph Pro review here, and a guide how to create them here.

(if you use an older web browser, you may only see a static image, if you are on a mobile, please hit the play button to see the Plotagraph in motion)
